Global Investment Bank
SMART performed a 'Current State Assessment' of the Settlement Operations and ran a 'Program Management Office (PMO)' to help clear the trades backlog for the Securities Division of a global investment bank. Facilitated process discovery and performed business process baselining. This led to the development of a Trade Management Tool using Rapid Application Delivery to track the progress of trades in the end-to-end Trade Settlement process (ncluding basic document auditing functionality). Global Investment Bank
SMART led a Global Markets Merger Task Force in developing numerous solutions to address merger-integration issues within a commercial bank. Developed FIFO Profit & Loss system for a Securities accounting area - reduced manual effort from more than thirty hours to less than one minute (per month). Developed all MIS Reporting, Profit and Loss Reporting system, Nostro Reconciliation system, Treasury Support System/Common System Reconciliation, Automated Daily Journal Entries, within the Foreign Exchange operations group. Developed Profit and Loss Reporting system for the Emerging Markets group, as well as Audit Feedback Distribution the Wholesale Bank Controllers group.
Global Investment Bank
SMART designed and implemented a Credit Risk Analysis System by using multi-dimensional OLAP (Online analytical processing) cubes for the Investment Bank. Developed components for processing of data exposed by various Web Services from desktop applications such as Excel for the Middle and Front Offices. Developed a fully automated analysis process to evaluate the output of existing pricing models. Architected and implemented data models and schemas for new credit products.
