Representative Engagements

Mayor Investment Bank

SMART led a global markets merger task force in developing numerous solutions to address merger-integration issues within a commercial bank. Individual solutions included:

• A FIFO profit & loss system for a securities accounting area, reducing manual effort from over thirty hours to less than one minute per month.
• All MIS reporting, a P& L reporting system, a nostro reconciliation system, a treasury support system/common system reconciliation and automated daily journal entries within FX operations.
• A P & L reporting system within the emerging markets group.
• An audit feedback distribution to the wholesale bank controllers group

Global Investment Bank

• Designed and implemented a credit risk analysis system, using multi dimensional OLAP cubes for this investment bank
• Developed the components for processing of data exposed by various web services from desktop applications such as Excel, for the middle and back offices.
• Developed a fully automated analysis process to evaluate the output of existing pricing models.
• Architected and implemented data models and schemas for the new credit products.
